Our Happy Place

I am extremely blessed to have married a man who does a lot of work in Hawaii and who loves to vacation there (to be clear...that wasn't even a factor in our marriage lol)! Now having had the opportunity to explore a few of the islands...I would have to say Maui is my happy place! The beaches are some of the most beautiful I've been on, the ocean life is absolutely breathtaking, and the hiking and trails are endless! We took our son with us this past December for my 36th birthday (I mean 28th birthday). He couldn't get over the beauty...no asking for his electronics, no asking to take breaks in all the exploring, heck he didn't want to get out of the ocean even after being lifted by waves and slammed to the coral on replay! I don't think Disney World would have captivated him as much as this God gift of an island!
